Gossip Girl Costume Designer Eric Daman Thrifted Looks for the New Show; Now He’s Partnering with thredUP to Help Consumers Get the Look

 

July 15, 2021 - Eric Daman, Emmy award winning costume designer of Gossip Girl, just revealed that he thrifted outfits for Gossip Girl 2.0. “I have always been passionate about thrift,” says Daman. “My obsession with thrifting goes back to when I was a kid in the 80s scouring local thrift stores for incredible, idiosyncratic pieces. The way young people dress has changed, and my style direction for the continuation of the show reflects that shift. About Eric Daman: 

Eric Daman is an Emmy® Award winning costume designer, celebrity stylist, fashion and jewelry designer, author, and is emerging as an IG Live event host and television personality. Daman has worked as a costume designer on TV shows and films, including HBO Max’s Gossip Girl, Showtime’s “Billions”, ABC’s period drama miniseries “Astronaut  Wives Club”, the CW’s “Sex & The City” prequel - “The Carrie Diaries”, as well as the full six season run of the CW’s hit TV series with a cult following, "Gossip Girl."
